BCSDN is currently implementing the project “Protecting Civic Space- Regional Civil Society Development Hub”,  financed by SIDA- the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

The Project aims to establish a Regional Civil Society Development Hub as a regional center with a global impact that will create and share knowledge and innovation on the CSOs’ role in promoting democracy and supporting the development of civil society in the Western Balkans in the long term. The overall objective of the Hub is to strengthen the regional cooperation for promoting civic space in the Western Balkan countries.

To facilitate this, through its re-granting component, the Regional Hub will provide different types of funding mechanisms. In such a way, it will respond rapidly to changing conditions and emerging needs of the civil society in the Western Balkans, being flexible to support the civil society’s needs and addressing new challenges as they arise.

The Programme for Grant Funding Opportunities presents an announcement on the funding opportunities for the CSOs that will be made available very soon. You may find the Programme attached here.

Please regularly check the updates on our website and social media for the call for proposals to be announced soon.
