The Digital Defenders Partnership (DDP) through its Regional Partnership Funding supports initiatives promoting online freedom and digital protection for human rights defenders, which operate in a single country or region. A wide range of activities can be supported, including: supporting internet access in cases of shutdowns, censorship or infrastructural damage; training or accompaniment on digital or other aspects of security and protection to HRDs at risk; expert advice, digital forensic analysis, hosting or other technical services to civil society; lobby and advocacy work for digital rights and internet freedom, etc. The funding provided can be up to 50,000 EUR for one year.
