As a part of Together for Active Civil Society (ACT) project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) Helvetas, Swiss Intercooperation and Civic Initiatives published a report which is based on a survey which presents the situation of the CSOs in Serbia in 2019. The survey aligns with the EU Guidelines for Support to Civil Society in Enlargement Countries 2014-2020. Research data shows that there has been a significant change in the key features of the civil society sector, primarily due to its growth over the last eight years and contextual changes that have influenced many aspects of the work of CSOs, such as: the organizational structure, the funding situation, the level of expertise of staff, level of citizen engagement, relations with the media, level of networking, as well as on cooperation of organizations with local self-government bodies.
