In an interview for Global Standard for CSO accountability, the MCIC Project Officer Aleksandra Savevska explained how BCSDN’s member from North Macedonia, MCIC is implementing the Global Standard for CSO Accountability. Through the Program on Sustainable Civil Society – State Funding of CSOs, a EU- funded multi-year program aimed at fostering an enabling environment for civil society in the country, as well as at enhancing CSO effectiveness, she explained how MCIC learns about the Global Standard for CSO Accountability. She added that MCIC set up a re-granting scheme to support CSOs’ good governance principles and values aligned with the Global Standard’s commitments. Read more here.
