The Open Society Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization that develops and supports projects and activities aimed at developing a democratic culture, openness, respect for diversity, full respect for the human rights of all and promoting the principles of the rule of law, good governance and accountability and citizen participation in public to create preconditions for the sustainable development of a democratic and open society in Serbia. Areas of work encompassing the project for proposal are: Citizens ‘Activism and Democratization; Public Integrity and the Fight Against Corruption; Ethnic Minorties and the Inclusion of Roma. The total amount of funds earmarked for the funding of the projects raised through the competition is 1,100,000 USD. Read more here.
