Gong and Corporate Europe Observatory, with the support of more than 30 Croatian and European CSOs, appeal to Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic with the proposal to include transparency of law-making and lobbying influence in the priorities of the soon-to-be EU Council Presidency. They call the Government of the Republic of Croatia to support the non-paper of ten Member States during the Croatian Presidency and to put on the Council’s agenda the support for the European Parliament’s position that meetings of the Council and preparatory bodies must be open to the public via online video transmission, with the publication of minutes and national positions for a clearer insight into the the law making process.
