Pursuant to the Decision establishing the Council for Civil Society Development, in accordance with the procedure implemented in accordance with Articles 23 and 24 of the Council’s Rules of Procedure, the Government of Croatia appoints members and alternate members of the Council from associations and other CSOs in areas such as: democratization, the rule of law, and the development of education, youth activities, the activities of the associations resulting from the Homeland War, culture, child care, care for people with disabilities, social welfare, sports, technical cultures, protection and promotion of human rights, environmental protection and sustainable development, protecting health and improving quality of life, consumer protection, tourism. Any association or formal network or alliance organizations can highlight only one candidate for the member and deputy member of the Council. Read more here.
