October 1, 2019On 26 October 2019, the #People2People event “Strengthening accountability, transparency, and sustainability of civil society organizations – Code of Standards for CSOs” happened in Tirana, Albania. The event was organized by Partners Albania for Change and Development and the National Resource Centre for Civil Society. Guest speakers from organizations in the Western Balkans region, as well as representatives’ international organizations, shared their experience at the regional and global level, on practices and mechanisms that improve civil society’s functioning standard. On the event, BCSDN’s Executive Director, Ilina Nesikj presented the BCSDN’s Code of Conduct, discussing the importance of CSO accountability for greater trust between CSOs and their constituencies.
