August 1, 2019The aim of the Programme was to strengthen the governance structures of the countries in the region and to prepare them for possible accession to the European Union, with focus on local and regional governments. The three key reform pillars on this path are rule of law, economic governance and public administration reform. The overall theme is the contribution to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030 integrated in the latest EU policies, as the framework for long-term transformation of the Western Balkan countries. The total amount available under the BACID Fund is € 200,000. The amount available in the second Call for proposals is € 60,000. The maximum amount per grant is € 6,000, or in the case of seed-funding € 10,000. Read more here.
