On 4 December Partners Albania organized the first #GivingCircle event. Three projects received financial support of a total of EUR 13.556 which was raised – almost double of the set target. Giving Circle is an event which brings together individuals from different fields in order to use their expertise, time as well as financial resources to support specific projects or causes that bring social change within particular communities. At the event in Tirana, donors from the corporate sector, civil society, media, arts and other fields all made their contribution in support of the following 3 projects: Një kopsht për fëmijët e fshatit Blliçe – an initiative by the organization Vision in Peshkopi; Adopto një terap – an initiative by the Down Syndrome Albania Foundation in Tirana; Edukimi dhe integrimi i fëmijëve të komunitetit Rom dhe Egjiptian përmes sportit – by the Egyptian Community Association for the Rights of the Child in Shkodra.
