This year, CSO Open Days in Croatia were held in cooperation with the initatives Croatia Volunteers 2017 and “Gledaj (u)druge”. Croatia Volunteers, organized this year for the seventh time, highlighted the potential for social development that is created by volunteering when people and organizations from the civil society, public and business sectors are connected. The “Gledaj (u)druge” campaign has been created to raise public awareness of the importance of the work of associations and civil society. The campaign also seeks to emphasize the fact that a large number of citizens are in some way associated with associations, directly or indirectly, through membership, volunteering or the use of their services and activities. Croatian CSOs are invited to support the initiative by registering on the website and presenting their work and achievements of 2016, including the number of projects implemented and the number of citizens and volunteers participating in them.
