May 19, 2014The Center for Economic Analysis (CEA), one of the SBPPF grantees from Macedonia, on 8 May 2014 in Skopje, held a presentation of the policy paper on „Good Governance through Better Fiscal Transparency: Recommendations for Implementation of the Recommendations of the Ad-hoc Commission“, focusing on the main findings and the recommendations stated in the policy paper. The presentation was in form of a working breakfast, where high-profile speakers (Mr. Stojan Andov, former President of the Assembly of RM, Mr. Trajko Slaveski, former Minister of finance and University professor, Mr. Nikola Popovski, former Minister of finance and University professor, Mr. Goran Petreski, University Professor, Mr. Saso Arsov, University Professor, Mr. Borce Trenovski, University Professor, representatives of the City of Skopje, Mr. Filip Chakarovski, NDI), discussed the fiscal policy, the procedure for the adoption of the budget and the issue of transparency in Macedonia.
